In the mid-80s, the Egyptian Lover was running things on the West Coast electro/hip hop circuit and this is ripe for reintroduction. For his big tune "Egypt, Egypt(1)" he sinks into liberal chunks of Bam's old electro-funk routine, but this man cannot be stopped. Good old dance floor fun. If you need an excuse, get it for the break record classic intro on "What Is A DJ If He Can't Scratch?(2)" on the flipside. This should be huge in Williamsburg right about now. Fischer Spooner ain't got nothing on the Egyptian Lover's sexy heavy breathing style.
