Moxie We Just Do Not Know 12"
dark disco edits
|
the lab review
Strange one from the vaults of the Moxie back catalog. This is number 11 from the Norwegian label originally released in 2007 and is certainly one of their darker volumes. The A-side is taken by "Can The Future Be Remembered?(1)," a spaced-out creeper with all sorts of wonky synth weirdness that'll appeal to dark side disco freaks. Sounds like a dosed-up version of the Bladerunner soundtrack or something from Liquid Sky. If you liked that, check the edit of Amin- Peck's italo-disco oddity that gets an edit on the B-side called "Me On Girl(2)" and ex-Tangerine Dreamer Peter Braumann's "The Third Site" that gets spliced up into "11 Miles from Bloxham(3)."
