Sweet 12" of edits from the boys at Horse Meat Disco. These edits aren't on the recent Strut compilation (they were actually released months before that) but carry that same vintage disco vibe that gets dancefloors wet. Donna Summer's "Lucky" gets re-rubbed in all the right places on "For A Ride(1)" making for a extended version of the Giorgio Moroder produced album cut. Karen Silver's "Hold On(2)" goes under the edit knife on the flip in all its swinging disco-rock glory (lovin' these swing beats!) as well as Boney M's "Silly Bones(3)." 3 out of 3 for HMD. A-side at 45, B-side at 33.
