Since his passing, there've been many MJ remix compilations passing through these hallowed internets, but this is the first one that compiles new remixes that were commissioned in tribute to the musical icon. The talent here was culled by Universal-Motown from many different ends of the spectrum (hip hop, house, electro, reggae, etc). Peep futuristic hip hop remixes from The Neptunes(1), Polow Da Don(2), Benny Blanco(3), Akon(4), and my favorite of the bunch, Dallas Austin(5). For the house heads, they got Frankie Knuckles(6), David Morales, and Steve Aoki(7). Finally, check out Salaam Remi's excellent reggae rendition of "ABC(8)." 12 tracks total, spread across 2LPs and packaged in a nice gatefold sleeve that includes notes from the producers involved.
