Wow. Just when you thought Kitsune couldn't bring anything new to the electro-rock game, they go and drop this heater of a 12". Passions has been turning ears on the interweb for a minute now with stellar remixes for Adam Kesher and Math Head, but "Emergency" marks their first proper vinyl release - and this shit is PROPER! Call it electro-rock, neu-rave, funky punk or whatever - this shit is built to destroy the dancefloor with raw energy and attitude. Killer bassline, chopped punky female vox, amazing synth tweakage... it's a wrap. Easily the best track off the forthcoming Kitsune Maison 4 compilation in my opinion. I actually got this track a while ago and it's STILL on my iPod playlist (that's pretty damn rare when working with new music all day, every day). Limited one-sided vinyl with fresh original artwork on the flip (a rarity on these Kitsune 12"s).
