I thought I smelled goth by the Emily Strange-like graphics on this. Well, it's not exactly goth per se, but its dark. Dark like a drugged out vampire looking for revenge. "Kittin Is High - 9/11 Mix by Black Labelle(1)" gives a slow burning groove with an elastic as hell bass kit, with and Ms. Kittin spitting mad breathy ramblings about how high she is along with witches and vampires. it also features an sweet breakdown similar to Tone Loc's "Wild Thing" pattern. Flip to the b-side, for the raw "Jo Jo De Freq's Beauty Is terror Remix(2)" which livens up the bass end with a steady arp and a more hype feel.
