This is a cold classic right here, I must have bumped this in the Walkman for a straight year. The beat is that dark, ominous vintage Buckwild shit with the shy drum track and military bass anchor. The Eclipse remix(2) is nice too with some majestic Ahmad Jamal piano chords crashing the 1. But the real skully cap over the eyes type flavor here comes from OC's absolutely devastating lyrics. Dude just spits his heart out on some brutally honest "y'all fake ass bitches" shit. Some kid heard this at my house once and said "damn this is that shit Eminem rhymed over in 8 Mile right?" I found that ironic, so I told him to research and analyze. Not exactly an easy find on 12", plus you know the pressing on the original Word...Life album sucked shit. Includes the Buck Remix which only slightly alters the original, instrumentals for all 3, and the acapella.
