Traktor Scratch is Native Instruments' robust entry into the digital DJing system market. Like other digital DJing software, Traktor Scratch allows you to control and manipulate your digital music files by using turntables and/or CD decks and the highly intuitive DJ software (based on the award-winning Traktor 3). The included AUDIO 8 DJ interface features 24bit/96kHz low-latency connectivity with Cirrus Logic AD/DA converters, MIDI I/O, and is USB 2.0 bus powered. It features 8 hi-gain outputs, 8 inputs, 2 optional phono preamps with high impedance input mode, mic input, 20 individual status LEDs for full visual control all in a portable, sleek aluminum case. Improving upon other systems, Traktor Scratch also features the super efficient "Instant Connect" system which uses 2 professional multi-core cables to connect your entire system through single XLR jacks for easy plug and play (rather than fumbling with numerous RCA cables). Included are 2 control vinyls and 2 control CDs for use with the system. These feature high resolution 2kHz processing timecode for super precise track control. The vinyl features twice as many contacts hitting the needle as any other system out at the moment for remarkably accurate vinyl simulation. Live remixing and tweaking are also possible with the Traktor Scratch software which boasts a multitude of effects and filters, routed through two dedicated effect output channels in addition to key correction, instant looping, selectable loop size and in-sync track copying from deck to deck. As with other popular systems, TS integrates perfectly with your iTunes playlist but also features an integrated Beatport online store. Compatible with MAC OS X 10.4.8 and Windows XP + Service Pack 2.
