Ex-Tussle member Alexis Georgopoulos and compadre Quinn Luke flesh out the drum-centric aspect of "Cutout" on their... expand review Expanding Head Band remix(1), then Lee Douglas(2) flips the script completely on his beautiful and hypnotic slow tribal remix (hands down my pick of the bunch here). The second 12" features three deep, dubby instrumental mixes of "Dressed To Please," the most substantial being the Deepchord remix(3), followed by the sidelong Echospace reduction(4) and Nathan Fake remix(5). This one comes exclusively off their Body Language Six Comp released earlier this year and features some awesome remixes for the dancefloor. Since their introduction to the lab the soft voiced... expand review synth pop duo have been spreading their wings gaining the highest respect from top producers and DJ's. "No Kinda Man(1)," kills it on the midnight groove tip, with seductive floating synths and a surreal electro beat. Jona(2) throws in a stomping house remix complete with chopped vocals and driving synth chords. Add Chloe(3) for a full sided remix that borders on a minimal feel with electro tendecies and it's a wrap. -C'mish

As they say, better late than never. Patrick Adams' illustrious career has been packed with hits and rare grooves that have inspired the entire genre... expand review since it's blow up in the late 70's. This is the follow up to his first Master Of The Masterpiece Vol.1 and includes rare tracks like "I Got A Big Bee - Original Demo Version(1)," and the soulful disco sounds of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough - Original Demo Version(2)," bright disco funk on "Happy Is The Only Way(3)," the chipmunkey disco of "Everybody Dance(4),"(not the Chic version) and "Dance And Shake Your Tambourine - Original Demo Version(5)." Also includes some awesome electro boogie funk, such as "Nasty Rock(6)" with nasty bass squiggles and sweet soulful sounds of "Looking For A Brand New Game(7)". Been digging for disco 12"s in NY and haven't really seen these out in the field. Definitely a rare treat. Recommended. -C'mish
