The Nio 2l4 is a simple, yet powerful USB interface with 44.1/48kHz sample rate, 24-bit resolution and 2 ins (2 RCA phono, 1 TS Jack, 1 XLR with phantom power - only 2 ins simultaneously) and 4 outs (4 RCA Phono, 2 stereo 1/4" headphone jacks) plus MIDI I/O. The professional inputs are ready for your turntables, mics, instruments, or line-level sources, while the four outputs and dual headphone outs make the Nio ideal for home studio recording for both artist and engineer or live performance. Unique to the Nio is the Direct FX technology which places powerful multi-effects engine within 2l4's custom drivers. This effects engine rests at the core of your computer, working independently of other software meaning your effects run almost entirely free of any latency, leaving the artist to use any combination of effects in real time for hassle-free jamming and recording. The result of this is the Nio FX Rack which allows you to build, save and recall any FX rack at lightning quick speed. This interface also features Direct Mix Monitoring, various guitar amp and distortion pedal effects, and the Xcite + software package which includes Ableton Live Lite 6, Novation Bass Station, Waldorf PPC Wave Lite Classic Synth, Arturia Analog Factory SE, and more.
