LA's premier art mag has gone all out with the "free" giveaway for issue no. 0045 and has included a 9" x 12" Evan Hecox 2-color silk screen print signed by the artist! Getting some actual art with your art mag is definitely AWESOME (and cheaper than buying a piece at a show). The actual issue is quite excellent as well with hand-done type treatments and more art by Mr. Hecox, art from Lab buddy Cody Hudson and Todd St. John, editorials from Studio von Birken and Ben Pogue featuring the "Arkititties" (yes you heard right), Tony Arcabascio, Nieves, C.R. Stecyk III, Frank Novak and Joshua Gregory. All this packaged in a hand stamped, old school office-style envelope. Limited edition of 2000.
