Edits on the whimsical side of things... for when you don't want to jaw grind to some dark disco. The selection sets off with Pure Energy's "Love Game(1)," a great piece syrupy synth soul that borderlines on freestyle. Geraldine Hunt's hit "Can't Fake The Feeling(2)" gets re-approached with its grand strings and swanky disco groove. Lastly, my favorite track of the three: Fun Boy Three's cover(3) of the Go-Go's "Our Lips Our Sealed." Totally alt-emo 80s stuff that you listen to with the door closed. Interesting factoid, Fun Boy Three was comprised of members from seminal Ska band The Specials. Go fig.
