This mid-priced headphone from Sony is something of a legend. Initially introduced in the early 80s, it became the standard among studio heads and educated consumers alike for its excellent sound reproduction and strong build. Look up some reviews on the internet and you'll find that people literally swear by them. According to the specs, these aren't much different than similar current models, but fans claim they have a certain chemistry that makes sound that much better. Turn V6's all the way up and you will still have clear (but not tinny) highs, solid mids and an undistorted bass. The construction is also notable, with sturdy metal fasteners and a handsome leather headband. The cord is single sided and coiled.
