Good to see alternate directions in the minimal world. "Paperboy(1)" applies minimal aesthetics to jazzy house and the results are fresh as hell. Endless piano solos are replaced by singular dribbles and annoying horn solos become short stabs. It's like jazz for the short attention holders. The A2, "Mimic(2)," is more of an Dubsided-esque minimal exercise with bounce and squiggle. On the flip, watch out for the D-Nox & Beckers' "Paperboy" remix(3) on the flip, it's garnering big club play with its big room sound.
