OVERVIEW
The Conectiv interface and Torq software is M-Audio's all-inclusive solution for the modern DJ. Here are the main capabilities:
1) self-contained digital mixing system for MAC or PC
2) when used with control CDs/vinyl (included), can be used like Serato.
3) high quality USB audio interface with built-in phono pre-amps - mix or record from turntable or CD player.
4) multi-effects processor

SELF CONTAINED DIGITAL MIXING SYSTEM
Torq is a powerful DJ mixing program that allows you to cue and beatmatch digital files all within your computer. Torq is compatible with a wide range of file formats including such MP3, AIFF, WAV, WMA and AAC. To add hands-on control, use the Conectiv's rotary knobs to fade between songs. Additional features include iTunes synch, built-in sampler, recording capabilities, time-stretching, 3-band EQ, looping, and VST compatibility (giving you access to a multitude of effects and plug-ins).

HANDS-ON DJING
When used in conjunction with Torq's encoded vinyl/CDs (included), you can use your turntable-mixer DJ setup to control your digital files, much like Serato and Final Scratch. Plug your DJ system into the Conectiv interface which plugs into your computer via USB.

USB INTERFACE
Use Conectiv to input, output, and record. The Conectiv is very DJ friendly with (2) RCA inputs and (2) RCA outputs; and since Conectiv has a built-in pre-amp, you can directly input your turntable or CD player. This allows you to mix your CDs or vinyl with your digital files. Want to record off CD or vinyl? The Conectiv features high-quality 16-bit/48kHz fidelity while the Torq software offers recording capabilities. For output, amp up your computer's sound with Conectiv's maximum output of +2dBV (which rivals most DJ mixers).

EFFECTS PROCESSOR
For DJs who are using vinyl or CDs, Connectiv turns your laptop into the most versatile DJ effects unit. Route your output through your computer, and utilize your favorite effects that you have setup in Torq, Ableton Live, and most other programs. Use the rotary knobs on Connectiv to control the intensity of your effects.
