It's easy to forget just how big that keyboard bass on "Let It Whip(1)" is- drop the extended instrumental intro on here for the instant fuzz juice. Last year radio was killing with a track that blended "Let It Whip" with the...   expand review  "Cry Me A River" acapella- but the mix never came out (even on white). Somebody do this, please- or just play the thing. A very underrated track in the fun dept. You also get a loud pressing of Rick James' "Give It To Me Baby(2)" and an 11 minute Jackson 5 medley(3)- useful if you wanna make that wedding gorgonzola like Ayres. -the mgmnt

Techno City
format: 12"

lab price: $7.00
available: yes
item #: lp-2728

Awesome piece of electro from 1988. The intro of "Techno City(1)" samples liberally from Kraftwerk and Bambaataa, but comes into its own as a west coast electro-bass track with weird samples and the vocoded vocals of MC Eiht. A little after...   expand review  the midway point, the track takes it to the proverbial next level when it introduces a breakbeat to the formula, ripping down the walls of your local Olive Garden. Egg Foo Young prolly digs this shit. -the mgmnt
