Uh huh. This is the jump off. Hip Hop essentials: Scratch FX. Look, although my co-workers at lab don't know this, but I've been in the scratch game ferrrr days. I've seen it all, ever since the early goofball days of 2 dj's on one set of tables and Baby G demonstrating his "crotch fader" juggle, bootleg Beat Junkies mixtapes(cassettes), and even the overtechnical days of the Asisphonics board. 3 click orbit flares, fading lasers, trubs, all that and then some. My secret, I haven't bought a break album since Hee-Haw breaks. Its got everything you need. Every sample you hear skratched on radio songs and peoples tracks is on that record. But guess what? After 5 years, even the most classic of scratch sounds gets old. I'm copping this one for sure. Call it an upgrade. This one has the best sound compilation out there. Everything from clean acapella snippets from every hip hop legend you can think of, essential breaks, sirens, and obnoxious noises and porn moans. Don't trust the audio sample, this has way too much to fit into 2 min. Pretty easy finding the sounds too, the whole record is organized by theme. Also, producers. Keep your eye on this. If you've ever wanted to find the acapella to a banging hip hop song just so you could flip one part, its probably on here. (sidenote: Snack noticed DJ Rob's covers are all rip offs of old dreamcasts games. We see you nerd!)
