This works well for cleaning all of your electrical connections and adapters. For DJ equipment maintenance, the deoxit pen works with all the important connections: rca's, fader wire connections, and especially (and the main reason we got this) for tonearm-headshell connections.

Not getting sound out of one channel? We don't guarnatee this will fix it, but in most cases of build-up it will. Licking the connections on your headshell/cartridge is a good quick fix, but it actually leads to more build-up. If you ever tried to clean the inside the tone-arm prongs with a toothpick, you know why this is a blessing. The tip works just like a chisel point marker and fits effectively into the tonearm socket for easy cleaning.
