When Ghostly International speaks, the world listens. When they decided to drop this series of compilations on Spectral Sound, it was no surprise that they were only going to take the highest quality cuts for their always impressive label. Swedish hard techno producer Par Grindvik lights up one funky track for this EP, "Casio(1)" being smooth jerkery with a wobbly synth line thrown over the top. Don't quesiton this track - its fucking fire. Bodycode, aka Portable, gives us a little more of a mental trip with his cut "Exciting Ride(2)." A little more experimental with some intricately obscure sci-fi vocal sample over it, you get a late-night freakout session to scare the kiddies with. But the real shiner here is, to no surprise, "I Gave You Away(3)" by label showcase artist Audion. First time I heard this, I kid you not, I think I just threw my drink on the ground and went apeshit dancing. One of my favourite Audion cuts to date, this record is worth it just for this track alone. Wake up and smell the minimal, kiddies...
