Lab Overview

intimate performances from alt country star. The 6th studio album from Neko Case plays on deeply emotional ties to her family life. After 2009's 'Middle Cyclone' she sank into a depression with the unfortunate loss of parents and grandmother in a short period of time. With these terrible circumstances surrounding her, the album clearly reads like an autobiography that is both touching and at some points alarmingly personal... but completely understandable. All said and done, this is still one of her best and most concise works to date. Pressed on 2 x LP with a gatefold jacket.
