Lab Overview

"Hot In Herre is based off the classic club anthem by Nelly produced by Pharrell Williams. This is a hard hitting Funk cover version produced by DJ Nu-Mark and The Traffic who have spent the last 5 years releasing successful covers. Baritone Saxophone takes Nelly's lead vocal and flips the song in a unique jaw dropping banger. The B-Side is a cover of 'Ain't No Fun (If The Homies Can't Have None)' originally by Snoop Dogg in collaboration with Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg, Waren G and Kurupt. The cover version is produced by DJ Nu-Mark & Jungle Fire. This is covered in an all Cumbia / Latin fashion with incredible percussion and the accordion taking the iconic lead moog line that made this song so recognizable. Both of these songs are part of DJ Nu-Mark's Run For Cover EP that takes known classics and covers them in a unique genre! DJ Nu-Mark is known for his iconic work as the producer / DJ for Jurassic 5, production with Method Man, Charles Bradley, Aloe Blacc, Large Professor, DJ Shadow and Nas." - Hot Plate Records
