Lab Overview

Compilation of early cuts from San Francisco's Grateful Dead. Smiling On A Cloudy Day comes some 50 years after 1967's Summer Of Love and highlights the core of what the Dead were playing at the time. The band was at the cultural epicenter of the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood and are a large part of the soundtrack of the time. Includes the songs: "St. Stephen," "China Cat Sunflower," "That's It For The Other One," "Dark Star," and "Morning Dew." Ten tracks in all. Released by Rhino Records on limited edition violet vinyl housed in a fill color sleeve.
