Lab Overview

The Stones' return to form. Originally released in 1968, Beggars Banquet marked the end of The Rolling Stones' psychedelic pop era (Their Satanic Majesties Request), and a celebrated return to their signature bluesy roots rock sound. The album features several iconic Stones songs, kicking off with the image-defining epic "Sympathy For The Devil," then getting into "No Expectations" with its Delta Blues-inflected slide guitar, and the innovative, politically-charged single "Street Fighting Man."

"The Rolling Stones' coming of age ... I think that the material was far better than anything they'd ever done before." - Glyn Johns

This deluxe 50th anniversary reissue comes pressed on heavyweight 180 gram vinyl with fully remastered sound, and includes a 12" single for "Sympathy For The Devil" (Original Mono Mix), as well as a bonus flexi-disc featuring The Rolling Stones' LONDON to TOKYO April 17, 1968 Interview, all housed in gatefold jacket with slip cover.
