Lab Overview

Debut studio album from Wigan's The Verve. A Storm In Heaven was originally recorded in the winter of 1992-1993, and is an important connection between the band's early work and their later, more pop oriented albums. Many of the songs are expansive, psychedelic takes that seem to stretch on endlessly. It's music that's easy to get lost in and it stood in stark contrast to the grunge sound that was popular at the time. Includes the songs: "Slide Away," "Blue," and "Make It Til' Monday." Ten tracks in all. Remastered by Chris Potter & Tony Cousins from the original half-inch tapes. Released by Virgin on 180 gram vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve.
