Lab Overview

Deep and dusty house sounds from the wild streets of Kansas. The music of Karlos Moran, apparently "stumbled upon and signed up by Luca Lozano of Klasse Wrecks and Grafiti Tapes fame," is imbued with an innocent quality, as if it existed in its own world. Sure Moran taps into the lo-fi house sound that seems to be of the moment, but his tracks' energy is of a different time and place. And he appears to have tapped into something that many people want a piece of. Lozano was so struck by the music that he decided to launch a sub-label dedicated to Moran's music. Outsider house from a true outsider. Recommended.
