Who says hip-hop is dead? Hip-hop is alive as ever if you look in the right places and one of those places is right here, on this full length from MC/producer Amir Mohammed el Khalifa aka Odissee. We're not talking about watered-down hip-pop "edm" either - this is that good stuff. Fresh beats with soul and intelligent raps that don't beat you over the head with consciousness but still make you think, that's what's up on People Hear What They See. Oddisee says of the album, "Every song was written in an outside environment, so that I could observe the subjects that would become my subject matter...
