Lab Overview

Sophomore album from Catherine Wheel repressed. The UK band originally dropped Chrome in 1993 as the follow-up to their breakout debut Ferment. Here Catherine Wheel perfects the metallic shoegaze vibes first revealed on Ferment, evolving from dream pop to a harder rock sound. Fans of the CW's first release will find the same atmospheric and melodic elements in Chrome, only intensified. This limited edition repress comes on silver vinyl with printed insert, housed in cover designed by UK collective Hipgnosis (of Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon fame). Individually numbered edition of 1,500.
