Collection of recordings of R.E.M. from the BBC archives. The Best Of R.E.M. At The BBC includes in studio sessions, TV performances and live broadcasts recorded by the seminal band over the years. Along with intimate renditions of the band's best known material, there are between song moments which provide a small glimpse that the relationship between Michael Stipe, Mike Mills and Peter Buck. This vinyl edition is a condensed version of the boxset, highlighting the best of the bounty of material the band recorded for the BBC. Notable songs include: "Losing My Religion," "Man On The Moon," "What's The Frequency, Kenneth?," and "Everybody Hurts." Twenty tracks in all. Released by Craft Recordings on 180 gram double vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeves.
