Lab Overview

Talk about a timeless album… Some 40 years later, “Smoke On The Water,” “Highway Star,” “Space Truckin’,” “Maybe I’m A Leo,” and other songs on Machine Head hit just as hard. It’s telling of the influence that Deep Purple wields on its descendants, and this clear vinyl, limited-edition (2,500 copies only) is essential not just for DP heads but fans of hard rock and heavy metal. Recorded at the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio in Montreux, Switzerland, the 1972 album is the most commercially successful for the English rock gods, and this 2016 official reissue comes housed in a gatefold sleeve w/ a lyrics insert.
