Rodriguez-Lopez, renowned for his groundbreaking work with The Mars Volta and At the Drive-In, brings his experimental and progressive rock expertise while Frusciante, best known as the guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, contributes his unique blend of funk, rock and soul influences. This musical partnership isn't the first for the duo, with Frusc having contributed to The Mars Volta's debut, De-Loused in the Comatorium, as well as Omar's 2004 solo effort A Manual Dexterity: Soundtrack Volume 1.
