Lab Overview

Brian Sella and Mat Uychich, collectively known as The Front Bottoms, diversify their sound for their 6th album, Going Grey. The folk-punk duo, known for its ability to write angsty pop numbers, delivers 11 tracks defined by Sella's vocals, strong guitar riffs, and upbeat drums, and what distinguishes Going Grey from the band's previous LPs is the synth textures that add a electronic edge to its core style. Plenty of catchy, energetic numbers on here, highlights include: "Ocean," "You Used to Say (Holy F**k)," "Vacation Town," and "Peace Sign."
