Lab Overview

Arthur Russell's minimalist masterpiece back in print after over 30 years! Tower Of Meaning was originally released by Chatham Square in 1983. Conducted by the late Julius Eastman, the ever changing soundscape is composed of tone combinations of two or three notes tuned to modal/raga scales played by various instrumental groups. The combinations are delivered at regular intervals until dissonant or complementary chords are held open. There's an unpredictability to the compositions that can be transcendent at times. Released by Audika on black vinyl housed in a faithful reproduction of the original sleeve.
