Lab Overview

Primal elements of '70s soul, raw psychedelic style, and cinematic Western soundtracks. Ikebe Shakedown also specializes in powerful grooves and soaring melides, and Kings Left Behind is the 4th offering from the powerful Brooklyn band. Every member contributed to producing the record, they experiment with instrumental soul textures and sounds—expect dreamy guitar, plenty of horn layers, and lush string arrangements shrouded in mystery but also deliver "punches right to the gut."
