Lab Overview

Edit heat from Shoes! Labheads already know Shoes is one of the best when it comes to reworking funky gems for the dancefloor and for Shoe Box Volume 1, the elusive producer shares some secret weapons from the vaults. Witness the fitness on the incredible dub version of Kraftwerk's "Computer World" that sounds like Rolf & Florian took a trip south of the hemisphere to a tribal rainforest, while "Bonde" respectfully edits the Malian blues by way of Ali Farka Toure's masterful guitar playing. Flipside comes through with a straight forward edit of Jakki's underground disco anthem "Sun, Sun, Sun" and a dub-tastic rework of The Viceroy's "Heart Made Of Stone" with a touch of Liquid Liquid.
