Lab Overview

With international hits like "Walking on a Dream," "We Are The People," and "Alive" under their belts, Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore, collectively known as Empire of the Sun,  return with Two Vines. The third album extends the ethereal electro-glam pop vibe that the Australian duo has thrived on, but some of the songs sport a more relaxed, mellow feel ("To Her Door," "First Crush"), something possibly attributed to the fact that parts of the record were recorded in Hawaii. The album also borrows from electropop of the '80s, which juxtaposes well with the group's dreamy vocals and renders most of the tracks ("Way To Go," "High And Low," "Friends") fit for the dancefloor.
