Lab Overview

Debut studio album from London's Palmistry. On first listen Pagan may catch you off guard. Benjy Keating's productions fit right in with what you might expect from Dre Skull's Mixpack Records, but his vocals bring a slightly different flavor to the label. Light and melancholic, his voice adds an enchanting element to the R&B and dancehall infused beats. The sound is stripped down, with the vocals and synths taking the foreground, the drums playing a minimal but crucial supporting roll. It's some of the most unique music to be coming out of the UK right now. Thirteen tracks in all. Released by Mixpak Records on blue colored vinyl.
