It's been a very long journey for Bernard Fevre and his Black Devil Disco Club. The project started back in 1978 with the now infamous self-titled album that was light years ahead of the space disco sound and influenced generations of electronic musicians. Then in 2006, he returned with the aptly titled 28 After and has since been a permanent fixture in the cosmic disco scene. Now on Circus, Fevre opens the doors to his exclusive club (which previously only included himself, solo) and invites an impressive and diverse list of guests to collaborate on the dark disco sounds. Collaborators include Jon Spencer (of Jon Spencer Blues Explosion), YACHT, Nancy Sinatra, Afrika Bambaataa, Poni Hoax, The Horrors, and others who all expand Fevre's unique space disco visions and help bring them to life in vivid wide screen. 10 tracks in all.
