DO you have a love of plants and synthesizers? Have we got the album for you! Originally released in 1976, Mort Garson's Mother Earth's Plantasia has been labeled "warm earth music for plants . . . and the people who love them." Built from warm Moog melodies the music evokes haunting and sinister vibrations one moment, and playful and surreal feelings the next. Garson rose to prominence as a composer, bandleader and songwriter of rock singles in the late 1950s before becoming an early adopter of the Moog synthesizer. The long out of print Plantasia feels like the culmination of his work as a composer and arranger. Ten tracks in all. Released by The Great Thunder on black vinyl house in a full color sleeve. Recommended.
