  • accepts both phono RCA input or 1/8”input
  • gain knob controls recording level of USB only (does not control speaker
    output volume)
  • switchable for MM / MC cartridges

  • high quality metal casing offers shielding from both vibration and electromagnetic interference

  • phono preamp

  • convert audio signal (via 1/8” input) to your computer for listening or recording

The Phono Box V is the full-featured model of the classic Phono Box series. In addition to its main phono preamp feature, it adds A/D capabilities with a USB output; an additional Line Input (which converts non-phono inputs to line level via the USB); controls for Phono / Line; and front-panel gain knob.

The USB output allows you to bypass your computers low-grade internal soundcard with 16 bit / 48kHz sampling rate. The gain knob is also key for adding extra power to your digital signal. In addition, you can expect low noise performance, delivering clean sound ready to be pushed out your amplifier or computer.
