Lab Overview

Welcome double LP reissue of Stereolab's 1993 album Transient Random-Noise Bursts With Announcements. This was the band's big major label debut (originally released on Elektra here in the US) and featured more of a rock feel with plenty of spacey, krautrock influence. Highlights include the driving motorik rhythms of "Analog Rock," "Jenny Ondioline" and "Crest," the psyched out "Golden Ball," and the laidback lounge vibes of "Pack Yr Romance." 11 Tracks in all.
