Sophomore studio album from Manchester's The Chemical Brothers. Dig Your Own Hole was originally recorded between 1995 and 1997, and was the duo's first UK number one album. After the success of their debut, Exit Planet Dust, the duo of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons further developed their psychedelic break-beat sound. Using more rock elements, they were able to reach a larger audience and helped turn a generation on to drum machines, samples and synthesizers. It's electronic music that rocks hard with just enough style and innovation thrown into the mix. Includes the songs: "Block Rockin' Beats," "Elektrobank," and "Don't Stop the Rock." Eleven tracks in all. Released by Freestyle Dust on limited edition double silver vinyl house in a gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeves.
