The Truth & Soul (formerly Soul Fire) guys have pulled another Timothy McNeely out of the vaults. While we don't have the word on what the original press was or how many acetates are still in existence, we can tell you these are two fine sides of 1972 Texas. "KC Stomp" is a great piece of midtempo boogie instrumentation, percolating with organ and electric guitar convos. The flipside "Easy, Easy, Easy" is just that, floating into full "let's sit back and watch the end of summer" mode. Warm, but with a slight love-bite to let you know it's there (those'd be the drums, dun).
