Lab Overview

"This is Taeko Ohnuki’s 2nd album released in 1977. Influenced by Stevie Wonder, 'Tokai' is known as one of Taeko Onuki’s most famous songs, and its lyrics, which include many satirical meanings of the time, are also interesting. Includes her hits: 'SUMMER CONNECTION', 'Kusuri wo Takusan', 'Nanimo Iranai', 'Tokai', 'Dare no Tame ni', etc.! The participating musicians were Ryuichi Sakamoto, Yu Imai, Kenji Omura, Tsunehide Matsuki, Tsugutoshi Goto, CRIS PARKER (Dr. of STUFF), Nobu Saito, Tatsuro Yamashita, Haruomi Hosono, Katzumi Watanabe, Yasuaki Shimizu, Shigeharu Mukai, Shigeru Suzuki, Shuichi Murakami, Tatsuo Hayashi, Masataka Matsutoya, etc." - Panam
