AT-LP2D USB Turntable (w/ Recording Software)
OVERVIEW
The AT-LP2D USB Turntable improves upon our bestselling AT-PL50 and AT-LP2Da turntables by replacing the RCA output with a USB port for direct connectivity to your MAC or PC. This means super easy vinyl-to-digital conversions without the need for a costly interface or flimsy adapter cables. No interface necessary!
FEATURES
The AT-LP2D comes with everything you need to get started, right out of the box. You get the USB turntable with built-in pre-amp and cartridge, Pyro recording software for PC and Audacity recording software for Mac so you can create MP3s, WAVs, WMAs, and burn CDs from your vinyl. The PYRO Software also remove clicks, pops, and crackles from noisy, old LPs with DeClicker.

AT-PL50 Turntable (w/ Built-In Pre-Amp)
OVERVIEW
This is an excellent belt-drive turntable for those who wish to simply listen to or record vinyl records (it is designed strictly for non-DJ home use). We have been looking for something to replace the eternally back ordered Technics SL-BD20, and this outstanding (and inexpensive) turntable from Audio Technica may be an even better deal. It's obviously great to get a brand new reliable turntable for under $100 dollars, but this also includes a few features, like a built-in phono pre-amp, that make it more than just a cheap solution.
FEATURES
The biggest feature here is the built-in phono pre-amp. Most stereos and receivers these days do not have a phono input or support a direct phono input, which mean you would have to route any turntable through some sort of pre-amplifier (such as a mixer) in order to play your records. Not so with the AT-PL50! Not only can you plug this directly into your stereo or receiver (any input will do), you can also plug it directly into your computer for easy vinyl recording. It's an extremely useful feature, and the AT-PL50 is literally one of the only turntables in production to offer it. Note that you can also shut the pre-amp function off if desired.
Another appealing feature here is the automatic tonearm. You can choose to either manually start the platter at your desired position (or song) or let the turntable automatically place the needle down on the beginning of the record (you need to choose the record size for both options). When the record has finished playing, the arm will automatically return to the arm rest, stopping the platter. Very convenient for home listening. It comes with a cartridge already installed, and will play both 33 and 45 RPM records. Since it's a belt-drive turntable, this cannot function in any dj capacity: back-cueing, scratching, etc are NOT advised.
OUR OPINION
The Audio Technica AT-PL50 is an absolute score. If you aren't going to be doing any dj'ing and need an inexpensive solution for listening to or recording records at home, this comes highly recommended.

OVERVIEW
Ion's TTUSB turntable is a simple and affordable all-in-one vinyl to digital turntable. It is modeled after Numark's TTUSB (minus the pitch shift) and includes software for both Mac and PC to make digitizing your vinyl very easy. It also includes Audacity software for more advanced editing.
FEATURES
The Ion TTUSB is a belt-driven turntable with USB connectivity. Simply plug and play into your Mac or PC with no drivers needed. The turntable features 33 1/3 and 45 RPM play, adjustable anti-skate control for increased stereo balancing, switchable phono/line level RCA outputs, and a handy 1/8" stereo line input (for connecting and digitizing cassettes and other sources). The included EZ Vinyl Converter 2 for PC (EZVC2) and EZ Audio Converter for Mac (EZAC) makes recording and transferring vinyl directly to iTunes extremely easy. Also included is the Audacity software for more advanced audio editing and recording of 78 RPM LPs.
OUR OPINION
This USB turntable package is perfect for anyone looking to capture their vinyl into digital format. The 1/8" input makes this a great value since you can record from other sources (cassettes, etc) as well. Full-sized, pro turntable design is a plus too (though mixing is not recommended due to lack of pitch control).

OVERVIEW
Numark's DJ In A Box package offers an excellent way for beginners to get a complete DJ setup for a very affordable price. The box comes with everything you need to get started - 2 turntables, a mixer, cartridges, headphones, and all necessary cables and accessories.
FEATURES
The DJ In A Box Package comes with 2 Numark TT1610 multi-directional efficient belt drive turntables with aluminum platters which include all the basic features necessary for djing and a belt-drive motor which is not recommended for scratching (go for the Numark Battle Pak if you want to start scratching on direct drive tables). The mixer included is the Numark DM950, which features 2 channels + mic input with EQ on each channel and slider style cuing. You also get the Numark HF125 flexible 7-position headphones, 2 Groove Tool cartridges, slipmats, and all necessary cables so you can start djing right out the box.
OUR OPINION
The DJ In A Box Package is perfect for the beginner that wants to start djing at a very affordable price. You get everything you need, but due to the nature of the belt-drive turntable - this set up is not recommended for those wanting to cut or scratch. Check out the Battle Pak for a package with direct drive decks.

PT01 Portable USB Turntable
Now with USB for easy recording of vinyl to WAV or MP3 directly into your computer! For anyone who collects or buys vinyl regularly, the uses of a portable turntable are obvious- listen to records before you buy, and play them anywhere. It's a good deal all around. The Numark PT 01 follows the basic principles that brought us the Vestax Handy Trax and improves upon those features in quite a few areas. Like the Vestax, this turntable has many features which older portables lack: play speeds of 33, 45 & 78 rpm, dual RCA outputs, hi/low tone control, pitch control, the ability to run on battery or included power plug, and now USB connectivity. The basics are down solid, and improvements are made in key "aesthetic" areas that make the PT 01 even more convenient. Most importantly, the PT 01 is a more utilitarian shape than the Handy Trax- not quite as sexy, but at 12" in its case, this will fit inside a record crate or bag quite easily. Another nice touch is the fact that the little platter has a slipmat on it. In addition, there are raised felt pads on the player's surface to keep 12" records from getting scratched. The other main improvement is the inclusion of both 3.5mm and 1/8" headphone inputs. A high quality portable and a great value especially with the ability to record to computer via USB (with included software for MAC and PC).

TT200 Turntable w/ FREE CX-1 Cartridge
affordable direct drive
SPECIAL OFFER: Purchase this turntable between 11/1/2009 and 12/31/2009 and receive a free CX-1 cartridge by mail from Numark. click for rebate form
OVERVIEW
Finally, an equipment manufacturer has developed a low priced turntable that functions much like a Technics 1200. The Numark TT200 drastically changes the turntable buying market. With its $199.00 price tag, it easily outperforms similarly priced turntables; and also competes with the 1200 and similar high end turntables in terms of price performance.
What makes this turntable different? First and foremost, the TT200 has a powerful direct drive motor. The torque (1.7 kg/cm) is actually stronger than the 1200(!). Second, the construction resembles the durable design of higher priced models: steel top, rubberized bottom, and aluminum platter. The TT200 weighs almost as much as a 1200, and you can feel it when you use it.
The all aluminum, straight arm tonearm is the best offered at this price range. It performs with excellent tracking, and higher durability than its plastic counterparts. The pitch control has a wide range of +/-10 (1200s have +/-8), and appears to be accurate. The pitch control response does not appear to be as quick as the 1200, but it is a small detail, that is easily adapted to.
OUR OPINION
Hands down, in the under $350 range, this is the best turntable we've tested. At this price, the TTX stands alone in terms of price and functionality. It is not a high-end turntable, but it captures several key functions of those higher priced turntables (torque, tonearm, several construction features). If you are a beginner, intermediate, or DJ on a budget, this is definitely a solid choice at an incredible price. We give a high recommendation in terms off price and performance.
What's the difference between this and higher priced turntables? In percentage terms, whereas most budget turntables compete with high end turntables at about 30-50%, the TT200 is closer to 75%. Although the construction is much better than its counterparts, the overall grade of the parts is not as high as the 1200. It still has a plastic feel. Although its torque is higher than the 1200, the motor on the 1200 feels stronger (dues to combination of platter weight and body stability). The TT200 is a very functional turntable, but it doesn't quite feel like a finely tuned piece of equipment. When buying equipment, we always say you get what you pay for. With the TT200 you get the most for your money.

Numark
TTX-USB Turntable
OVERVIEW
This is the improved USB version of the Numark TTX turntable. The impressive features of the TTX are now paired with the ability to digitize your vinyl without the need for an audio interface via USB plug and play compatibility for both Mac and Windows PCs at no extra cost. Includes all necessary cables as well as software for removing clicks and pops.
FEATURES
As a pro turntable, the TTX is a very viable option to the classic 1200. This turntable will function like a 1200 in basic features, but also adds many new digital features and improvements. It's evident that Numark had turntablists in mind when designing this turntable, but most of the features come in handy for non-turntablist DJs as well. For starters, it includes both a straight arm and s-shaped tonearm. Some would argue the straight arm is better for scratching (more skip resistant), whereas the classic S-Shaped tonearm is better for mixing. The pitch control (+/- 10, 20 and 50% selectable pitch ranges with key (chord) control) is movable and can be rotated for battle or regular position. The digital display features vital BPM and RPM information (plays 33 / 45 / 78 and reverse) and all the connections are detachable (power, RCA, and ground wire). The construction is as solid as the 1200, weighs more than the 1200, and features a similar steel top and rubber base construction. Add the USB connectivity and you can safely say Numark has covered all the bases.
OUR OPINION
Like all the other turntables that have come along over the years trying to compete with the Technics 1200, we were initially skeptical about the performance of the TTX, which has been hailed by many as the next step. But after inspection and testing, we must first applaud Numark for their vast improvements in product quality. The TTX-1 is leaps and bounds beyond the sub-par quality that they had become notorious years back. That being said, the TTX-1 is quite impressive. Beyond the list of new features and improvements (see below), it is solidly built (even heavier than a 1200) with an extremely strong motor (stronger torque than 1200), great start-up time and accurate pitch control. With the addition of USB connectivity (which eliminates the need for an audio interface when digitizing vinyl), Numark has included a very necessary tool for today's DJ.

Stanton
T.120 Staight Tone-Arm Turntable
OVERVIEW
The T.120 is Stanton's new top of the line turntable. Like its predecessor the ST-150, this turntable features Stanton's ultra high torque direct drive motor (which they claim to be the world's strongest at +4.5Kgf-cm) and an all aluminum, Technics 1200-type construction. This is the straight tone-arm edition, which is preferable for those whose primary focus is scratching (for overall djing and listening, we recommend the curved arm model).
FEATURES
In terms of general DJ feel and scratching, there isn't much comparison between the T.120 and Stanton's lower T.60 & T.80 models. The T.120 is more in the neighborhood of a Technics 1200 or a Numark TTX-1. The motor is extremely strong on this turntable, the overall weight of the unit has been increased, and the platter is as stable as anything else out there- all of which means you can DJ and scratch with full confidence. In an extremely convenient move, the start and brake times are adjustable through two knobs right next to the start/stop button. When these are turned to their sharpest points, the T.120 starts and stops on an absolute dime. The pitch control has a selectable range of +/-8%, 25% or 50% with quartz lock (which improves accuracy), and two (+ and -) pitch bend buttons which temporarily alter the pitch about 6% when pressed.
The T.120 follows the basic template of Stanton's current turntable design while improving the details and quality. Most noticeable is the tonearm area. The all-aluminum construction is a plus, but they've also designed this one to be height adjustable with a base ring, the counter weight is far more accurate, there is a tone arm lift lever, and there is anti-skate adjustment. It has two stop/start buttons so that you can position your turntables regular (horizontal) or battle (vertical) style. The RCA cables and power cord are detachable, which is great since those connections are usually the first things to go in a turntables' life. The T.120 also comes with a cloth dustcover, a minor innovation which I think will please a lot of people.
OUR OPINION
This is Stanton's most professional and trustworthy turntable yet. It is well thought out and generously constructed, as any top of the line piece should be. Overall, this is a solid, reliable turntable that is a viable option to anything within its price range.

T.62 Turntable (with 500.v3 Cartridge)
OVERVIEW
The T.62 is the upgraded version of Stanton's popular (but now discontinued) T.60 turntable. It features super easy operation, a direct-drive motor, and straight tone arm for superior tracking and scratch capability. In addition, the unit comes with everything you need to start spinning - a Stanton 500.v3 cart, slipmat, RCA cables and more all for under $200 bucks.
FEATURES
The T.62 covers all the bases of turntable functionality, keeping with the standard Technics template while making some useful additions. It has two stop/start buttons so that you can position your turntables regular (horizontal) or battle (vertical) style. The pitch control goes from +/- 10%, and feels accurate.
The RCA cables, ground wire and power cord are all detachable, which is great since those connections are usually the first things to go in a turntables' life. The T.62 also comes with a cloth dustcover, a minor innovation which I think will please a lot of people. The construction is fairly standard for this price range- plastic body, weighted bottom, aluminum platter & tonearm- although these do feel very sturdy.
OUR OPINION
You would be hard-pressed to find another passable direct-drive turntable for $199.00. The T.62 is perfectly good for learning to dj, and should last quite a while under normal stress. While you won't be blown away by the torque on the platter (butter rugs recommended for scratching), Stanton's attention to the little details means this turntable will hold up longer with a better overall experience.

T.90 USB Turntable (w/ Recording Software)
OVERVIEW
The T.90 is Stanton's first entry into the ever-growing USB turntable market. It is a direct drive turntable with USB connectivity for under $300. Digitize your vinyl without the need for an interface or mix and scratch with great pick up and platter response. Includes cartridge, slipmat, and all necessary cables as well as editing software for digitizing your records.
FEATURES
The T.90 turntable features a quality, high-torque direct drive motor with +/- 8% or 12% pitch range in Stanton's unique styled body. The direct drive motor coupled with the S-shaped tone arm provides much better response, pick up and tracking than belt drive turntables allowing for better performance while mixing and scratching. The T.90 also features USB connectivty, an important feature in todays age of digital DJing. Simply connect to your computer to digitize your records into audio files for your Digital DJ system or your iPod. Comes with everything you need to get started - cartridge, slipmat, cloth dust cover, and Cakewalk Pyro sound editing program.
OUR OPINION
If you need a basic, direct drive turntable with USB capabilities - this is it. The T.90 is much better for dj performance than some of the more budget belt drive USB tables we sell, and it doesn't have any extraneous features you might not use like some of it's higher priced competitors. It is a great all in one solution with everything you need already in the box for under $300.

Technics
SL-1200MK2 Turntable - Black
OVERVIEW
The Technics 1200MK2 has been the industry standard for 25+ years. For all intents and purposes, this is the exact same turntable as the contemporary MK5 series, just without some of the new features, and the Technics 1200 remains the preferred choice for all types of djing.
FEATURES
This is the turntable that first established the type of high torque (motor strength), accurate pitch (speed control), quality tone arm (aids in skip resistance), and superior sound that is required by djs; and after 25+ years it is still the standard by which all other turntables are judged. Every other turntable that has come since has patterned their design off this legendary piece of equipment, and the reason is simple: the 1200MK2 is about as close to perfection as you can get with a piece of machinery. It functions beautifully and the durability and construction are unmatched. The body and major components are made of steel. The bottom of the body is made of a dense rubber that eliminates distortion and feedback and adds extra weight for stability. Most of the basic parts are readily available and user replaceable.
The differences between the MK2 and the newer MK5 versions are fairly minor and mostly aesthetic. They are as follows: the MK2 still has the "click" at zero on the pitch control, the MK2 does not have a protective sleeve around the on/off knob, and no slipmat is included. Other than that, they are identical.
OUR OPINION
Our #1 recommendation. There is simply no replacement for a Technics 1200 turntable, and it's almost cooler to have this original MK2 model, without the unnecessary "new features" of the newer M3D and MK5 models. Regardless of model number, Technics still makes the best turntable available, and they are used in 99% of all venues. Resale value is also very high. Some newer turntables may have more features, but this is the superior overall product. When you use a 1200, you know you are using the best.

SL-1200MK2 Turntable - Silver

SL-1200MK5 Turntable Dual Voltage (Europe/US)
VOLTAGE NOTICE
This is the multi-voltage version of Technics 1200MK5, which features a switch for changing between 110V and 220V.
OVERVIEW
The Technics 1200 has been the industry standard for 25+ years. The 1200MK5 replaces the 1200M3D, making a couple improvements along the way: 1) the tonearm construction has been improved, which should lead to better skip resistance. 2) the brake adjustment is now more accessible. Simply remove the record and slipmat and it's possible to adjust the platter's breaking time with a screwdriver. Other than that, this is exactly the same as the M3D, which had these differences from the original MK2: 1) power switch is sunken to prevent accidental turn-off 2) includes a button which overrides the pitch control to zero (regular speed) 3) no "click" at zero on the pitch control 4) comes with a high quality Technics 2 piece slipmat 5) Dust cover does not include hinges.
FEATURES
This is the turntable that first established the type of high torque (motor strength), accurate pitch (speed control), quality tone arm (aids in skip resistance), and superior sound that is required by djs, and after 25+ years it is still the standard by which all other turntables are judged. Technics
SL-1210M5G Turntable
OVERVIEW
The 1210 M5G is subtitled the "grand master" and takes over the top of the line position for Technics' line of turntables. The major improvement here, and the feature which is exclusive to the 1210M5G, is the pitch control. It is now completely digital, which means you should never have the problem of mismatched pitch ranges, and it also gives you the ability to choose between two separate pitch ranges: the standard +/-8 range and the larger +/-16 range. The color scheme, style and finish are also exclusive to the M5G and includes a blue stylus pop-up light, blue lights for both pitch ranges, a unique metallic black finish, and brushed steel hardware for everything down to the 45 adaptor.
Other than that, the M5G includes the same improvements that the MK5 made over the M3D: include 1) the tonearm construction has been improved, which should lead to better skip resistance 2) the brake adjustment is now more accessible. Simply remove the record and slipmat and it's possible to adjust the platter's breaking time with a screwdriver.
OUR OPINION
The Technics 1200 turntable is still our #1 recommendation, in any model number. This "grand master" edition has finally made some serious improvements to the basic 1200 scheme, with the digital pitch control a particularly useful step. Aside from that, the M5G is the most unique 1200 this side of the limited edition gold 1200s and retains all the strengths of previous models. The feel and durability are unmatched. It is the best turntable available, and one that is used in 99% of all venues. Some newer turntables may have more features, but this is the superior overall product, and is the preferred choice for all types of djing. The high torque (motor strength), accurate pitch (speed control), quality tone arm (aids in skip resistance), and superior sound are the standards by which all other turntables are judged. Vestax
BDT-2600 (w/ Built-In Pre-Amp) Turntable
OVERVIEW
The BDT-2600 is a high-end, retro-styled turntable from Vestax. It's distinct, sleek look is matched with unique features and great sound quality that will appeal to audiophiles, producers and collectors alike. Everything you need to play is included in the box making this an outstanding turntable for those that simply want to listen to their records.
FEATURES
The Vestax BDT-2600 features a unique built-in pre-amp that allows you to connect the turntable to any system through the LINE input without the need for a mixer or pre-amp. This can be extremely useful for connecting to modern stereo systems that often neglect to include a phono input and offers a simple way to get your analog signal into your computer in order to digitize your vinyl collection. However, the included LINE/PHONO switch allows you to use this turntable with a traditional dj mixer or amp as well. In addition, there is no need for grounding with the BDT-2600 which makes it compatible with any stereo system.
The turntable plays at either 33 or 45 rpm with two fine pitch controls allowing you to adjust the sound up to 78rpm while the S-shaped tone arm prevents skips. The turntable also features a heavy-duty metal chassis that minimizes feedback and vibration, a great commodity when recording. As an added value, the BDT-2600 comes packaged with a Vestax cartridge and stylus, a slipmat, and a dust cover. If you are looking for a high-end turntable with all the necessities, unique features as well as stunning looks, this is a suitable turntable for you. Please note: Scratching or back-cueing is NOT recommended on this turntable.

Guber CM-02 USB Turntable - White
high end compact USB turntable
OVERVIEW
The Guber CM-O2 from Vestax is a unique and stylish turntable offering high end sound and functionality plus USB recording capabilities, all in a very compact frame.
FEATURES
Featuring a DC Servo Motor controlled Belt Drive system, the Guber CM-02 delivers smooth quiet rotation of the 240mm diameter, extra thich acrylic platter. The 5 bullet shape body weights provide a sufficient inertial force while the static balance, aluminum S type tone arm offers supreme tracking and vibrational characteristics. There is also a built-in high quality RIAA phono equalizer enabling direct connection to your stereo system via LINE input. The CM-02 also has a PHONO/LINE output select switch for connection to PHONO input as a regular turntable. Best of all there is a USB output to connect the GUBER to your Mac or PC for direct recording of your favorite LPs (no special installation required!). Also includes a cartridge with headshell in the box as well as clear slipmat.
OUR OPINION
The Guber CM-02 is like the Cadillac of compact USB turntables. Not only does it sport an eye catching look with the clear acrylic platter, high end construction and rounded edges, it also features a cartridge on a headshell that can be replaced (with a higher grade needle if you prefer). This is an option seldom seen on these kinds of turntables and can be utilized by audiophiles who demand highest quality sound.

Handy Trax Portable Turntable
OVERVIEW
The importance of having a quality portable turntable is obvious for anyone who has ever seriously looked for or collected records. It's the key element for record buying trips (especially at flea markets and that record warehouse in the sky); plus it's the missing piece of equipment that frees your records to go wherever you want. Listen before you buy, and play them anywhere -what could be better? For years, collectors have been hoarding children's portables and hard to find Japanese models; now Vestax has finally made a high grade portable available to the general public.
OUR OPINION
The Handy Trax is a well thought-out machine, designed with input from collectors and djs. As a result, it is easy to use, surprisingly durable, and has a host of sensible features. For most, the top feature will be the powerful, full sounding stereo headphone output. It's plenty loud enough and sound quality will not have you second guessing what the record "really sounds like." Headphones get an A+. You can also plug the Handy Trax into your receiver or stereo system with its standard RCA outs, so it's possible to double as a home unit. Listening on the built-in speaker is definitely a last resort, but even that is good enough to fill up a small space like a bedroom. Other functions include a strong pitch control knob and effective tone control (just low/high, but it's enough to remove scratchy hiss). The Handy Trax also features a 3.5mm input which allows you to play another source through the turntable's speaker. It is powered either by an included, detachable power plug or six "D" batteries.
The Handy Trax gets the job done and it comes with just about every feature that djs and collectors have asked for. If you need to justify such a luxury purchase, just think of the number of bad records you won't buy with this thing in your possession. It'll pay for itself in no time and make your collection better while you're at it. And aside from the obvious, the possibilities are endless- this gives you bedside listening flexibility, stoopside action in the warm weather and trips to the park. For now, it's as close to an ipod as the record world is going to get.

Vestax
PDX-2000MKII Turntable
OVERVIEW
The PDX-2000MK2 is Vestax's new standard professional turntable. It improves upon the performance of the PDX-2000 with quite a few changes that make it a more well-rounded turntable. The PDX-2000 was a rock solid hit with the scratch DJ community, but never really caught on with the rest of the DJ population. So in order to make the MK2 more friendly to DJ's who aren't scratch-centric, they have improved the two main parts of the turntable- the platter and the tonearm. The platter on the MK2 has a much lower profile than the previous model, which makes it feel more like a Technics and less like a gadget. Much better for getting the "feel" when mixing. The top surface of the platter is also grooved, which creates less friction between the slipmat and the platter for increased backspin time and less resistance when scratching. The tone arm features a completely new base design, which is now height-adjustable and more resistant to turntable feedback and rumble.
Vestax was the first company to introduce straight arm technology, and remains the only company to truly master it. The effect of this system is a virtually unskippable turntable. Under normal DJ situations, the PDX-2000 is truly unskippable (we've tested it numerous times). In comparison with the Technics 1200, the PDX-2000 features quite a few improvements including a motor with 2.7 kg/cm torque (stronger than 1200), +/-10 pitch control, an "ultra pitch" controller which has a range of +/-50%, adjustable start and brake controls on the top of the turntable, reverse play, and detachable RCA and ground wires
OUR OPINION
Over the last few years a lot of tour and studio DJs have converted to the PDX-2000 series because of the unskippable system. This feature makes it the best turntable for stage and live conditions (eliminates skip mistakes). In comparison to a Technics 1200, the tonearm construction still leaves something to be desired, but the PDX-2000's overall stability and great features make that something we can overlook. And with it's newly improved platter & tonearm, the PDX-2000MK2 has effectively escaped the tag of being strictly a "scratch turntable." It's now suitable for all uses, and valid competition for Technics.

PDX-3000 Mix Turntable
OVERVIEW
The PDX-3000 Mix is the newest addition to Vestax's innovative PDX series turntables. It inherits many of the features from its predecessor the PDX-2000MK2 (rock solid construction, low platter, huge pitch range) and the "Mix" edition adds an S-Shaped tone arm making it a very viable alternative to Technics 1200/1210's for mix DJs and turntablists alike. It also boasts a unique MIDI control feature (a first on a turntable!) and a slick black finish.
FEATURES
Vestax has made the "Mix" version of the PDX-3000 with a high quality S-Shaped tone arm for those accustomed to the reliability and performance of other S-Shaped turntables (like Technics). Though the straight tone arm is usually found on Vestax turntables, the S-Shape is a welcome change and is just as effective. Vestax is now also the first company to introduce MIDI control on a turntable. With the dedicated MIDI input connection, the PDX-3000 Mix can connect to trigger pads, keyboards, and other controllers to actually control the rotation speed further expanding the creative possibilities of the turntable. The PDX-3000 Mix also features a ultra wide pitch range (+/-10% or +/-50%), Quartz lock, instant reverse play, removable target light, brake start adjustment, and adjustable torque motor.
OUR OPINION
The PDX-3000 Mix performs just as solid as any other professional turntable out there (i.e. Technics) but with a myriad of unique features for the advanced DJ. With the ultra-wide pitch range and MIDI control feature, this turntable is also an excellent choice for DJs and producers that want to get the most out of their turntable.

Vestax was the first company to introduce straight arm technology, and remains the only company to truly master it. The effect of this system is a virtually unskippable turntable. Like the PDX-2000, the PDX-3000 is virtually unskippable. Vestax is now also the first company to introduce MIDI control on a turntable. With the dedicated MIDI input connection, the PDX-3000 can connect to trigger pads, keyboards, and other controllers to actually control the rotation speed further expanding the creative possibilities of the turntable.
