Lab Overview

Major label debut studio album from Beck Hansen. Mellow Gold follows his previous effort Stereopathetic Soulmanure and maintains the rustic anti-folk vibes of his early indie career, while beginning to hone the genre-melding production and self-aware songwriting that would define his subsequent full-length Odelay. Includes "Pay No Mind," "Beercan" and of course, "Loser." Reissued here on 180 gram red & black colored vinyl in a limited edition of 2016 copies to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Bong Load Records.
