↳ Fully automatic turntables feature start + stop buttons that control both the turntable motor and the tonearm. Fully automatic turntables also turn the motor off and return the tonearm after a record reaches the end of a side. Semi-automatic turntables only feature the motor off feature. Sometimes, semi-automatic turntables have a tonearm lift feature triggered at the end of the record. All automatic models are excellent for casual, hands-off listening.
