Lab Overview

Limited edition pressing for Record Store Day 2017! With "Groove Is In The Heart" Deee-Lite brought New York City club culture to the world. The trio of Lady Miss Keir, Supa Dj Dimitry, and Towa Tei combined elements of Herbie Hancock's "Bring Down the Birds" and Vernon Burch's "Get Up," got a little help from A Tribe Called Quest's Q-Tip and Parliament-Funkadelic legend Bootsy Collins, and had a hit on their hands. This reissue stays relatively faithful to the original 1990, including the two mixes of "What Is Love?" (a standout cut in its own right) on the B side. Released by Elektra on limited edition pink vinyl housed in a full color sleeve.
