Lab Overview

Limited edition pressing! Factory Floor seem to have decided that they like things stripped down to their bare elements. The trio has dialed back on the industrial drones that characterized their earlier releases, in favor of the pulsating beat that lies beneath it all. With their full length debut on DFA they take full advantage of what the label, with its dance rock pedigree, has to offer. It's like they found the perfect mix of programmed synth lines and ultra tight live percussion. Nikki Colk's vocals provide the perfect shimmering dust to the marriage of bass and kick drum. The odd effect or sweep of a filter is all that is needed to compound the growing tension. This is seriously powerful music; enough to move a room packed wall to wall with people. In stripping down their sound Factory Floor have become an intense and precise rhythm making machine. You'll have to decide to stand in its way and bear the consequences or move with it. This special hand-stamped and numbered white label edition is pressed on marbled pink vinyl and limited to 200 copies.
