Labrinth is a London-based singer-songwriter-producer, and HBO's Euphoria is his first TV scoring gig. He's one third of LSD, a supergroup also consisting of Diplo and Sia, and he co-wrote "Spirit" with Beyonce, a song featured on Disney's recent remake of Lion King. The controversial series starring Zendaya showcases the world of a group of high school students as they navigate through issues of drugs, sex, relationships, violence, and more, and Labrinth's nocturnal compositions perfectly complement the show's addictive story line and striking visuals. The producer counts electronic, hip-hop, R&B, gospel, and jungle among other genres as influences, and he keys in on the hallucinatory, dark, and very graphic on-screen going-ons with finesse, weaving together a vivid medley of sounds and sensations. Mostly instrumentals but also with some vocal elements.
