Lab Overview

Led Zeppelin took an interesting turn with the cover art for their fourth album. After their previous album had received lukewarm reviews the band decided they wanted the follow up to be released anonymously. The result was cover art that contained no band name and an album without a title. The band members are represented by four symbols; an idea that originated with Jimmy Page. This all seems to have served them well as the album is one of the best selling in the world to date. Then, of course, there's the music. It's some of Led Zeppelin's most popular material that they released. I mean, "Black Dog," "Rock and Roll," "Going to California," classic Beastie Boys' sample "When The Levee Breaks" and their signature tune, "Stairway To Heaven." Even if you don't know Led Zeppelin you know these songs. High quality pressing of one of rock's most classic albums.
